Concierge Service Contracts

The Concierge position is one of great importance to the high profile property. The variances in responsibilities have a wide range from access to security and just about a little of everything in between. Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd knows the Concierge position is sometimes a very important and sensitive position in high profile residential strata’s.  The Concierge works very closely with the other Building service Workers on site and also with the Property Manager who is in charge of the property.

• All Concierges provided by Thompson caretaking our insured by Work Safe BC and are provided with additional third party liability insurance.
• Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd only provides Concierges with a strong and proven background in the residential strata industry. At this entry level position we insist on previous backgrounds in Janitorial and/or concierge service from Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd and other companies.
• Once a Concierge has been chosen to work for Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd each Concierge is then given additional training specific to our policies and procedures which greatly enhances the abilities to perform their tasks. This is of great importance and benefit to our clients and their properties.
• All Concierge contracts provided by Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd include our (Specific Assessment Technology) or S.A.T at no extra cost to the client.
• Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd provides Concierges that are friendly and personable. We want residents to feel as though they can call on to ask any question or raise a concern and get a warm, friendly response no matter what the topic. Making sure our Building Service Workers are friendly, accessible and approachable at all times.
• At the time Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd interviews for Concierge positions we make sure the prospective Building Service Worker has a background in the service industry and is up to date with access and security. With this particular position a good knowledge of these two areas is essential in keeping a property safe and well looked after and represented when greeting visitors and trades to the property.
• The Concierges provided by Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd come to us knowing and having an excellent understanding of this sensitive position.
• We provide Concierges that speak, read and write English fluently. In some cases we can provide some that can speak, read and write a second language as well.
• Many Concierges coming to Thompson Caretaking Services Ltd come from a background in hospitality or security.
• Concierge contracts are offered in every configuration to include regular Monday to Friday 40 hour work week, weekend Saturday and Sunday and holiday coverage.
• Many Concierges go on to be successful Building Caretakers and Building Managers after proving themselves in the concierge field.
